Monday evening in the Landière hall, in Theix-Noyalo, the Celtic circle En Arben summoned its troops to share the galette des Rois but also and above all to announce the new constitution of the board of directors. It was Guy Créac’h, treasurer, who launched the meeting by emphasizing the importance of regional Breton culture in the face of globalization and the central role of En Arben in the influence of this culture.

Guy Créac’h observed a minute of silence in tribute to Anne Burban, the president, who died suddenly at the end of last year. The emotion was palpable.

Françoise Nicolas will have the difficult task of replacing Anne Burban, who has been president for four years. She is aware of the difficulty of replacing Anne Burban, the true mastermind of the circle, in terms of heritage, costumes and dances. Françoise Nicolas will draw on the knowledge of members by appointing workshop managers the finest experts in each field.
