VIDEO – This Wednesday January 15, Louis Bertignac was the guest ofAs an asideon Canal + on the occasion of the broadcast of his live concert on OLYMPIA TV this Saturday at 9 p.m., from the Trianon. On set, the singer returned to the mishap he suffered following his marriage to Laetitia Brichet, whom he married on July 24, 2021.
A special day he remembers… for several reasons. After being in a relationship with actress Julie Delafosse, with whom he had two daughters, Louis Bertignac fell under the spell of Laetitia Brichet, 34 years his junior. But during confinement, the singer and his wife went through a difficult period. A situation which pushed them to each live under a different roof. It was ultimately music that brought them together, as the 70-year-old artist explained in the show As an asidebroadcast this Wednesday, January 15: “For almost a month, we were separated. We were both very sad. And then, I sent him a message one day, I said: ‘Here, I wrote a song, don’t you want to sing it with me?’ I told him this by text message. And ten minutes later she told me she would love to sing it.”
His wife therefore agreed to put her voice on the title Maybe one daya hymn to marital peace, to the great happiness of Louis Bertignac. “We’ll meet up the next day at the studio. And there, she sings, and then we kiss. We lived again together. And I didn’t get Covid!”, he joked, before making an unexpected confidence: “But I caught it the wedding day (which took place on July 24, 2021, editor’s note)!”, confided Jack’s father. “But I was vaccinated at the time!”, he immediately reassured.

The love story between Louis Bertignac and Laetitia Brichet was not written in advance. In 2014, with our colleagues from Liberationthe young woman, 34 years younger than her husband, returned to the evening of their meeting: “I was offered a ticket to a Louis concert. I didn’t really want to go there. Telephone, it was far away, it was good for my parents”, she said at the time.

(…) His uncle, who I know, offered him a ticket for my concert. She admitted to me that she went there backwards, she didn’t really know my music. When he saw me on stage, his first reaction was: ‘How handsome this guy is!’” he laughed then.
