Three presenters will replace Gary Lineker in Match of the Day from the BBC. According to a BBC statement, Kelly Cates, Mark Chapman and Gabby Logan will take on the role of new presenters for the upcoming season.

It should be noted that this will be the first time that three people will share this position. They will animate Match of the Day 2 every Sunday, MOTD: Champions League every Wednesday, as well as the flagship show on Saturdays.

Previously it was announced that Gary Lineker, who presents Match of the Day since 1999, would leave the program at the end of the season. However, the former England striker will continue to cover the FA Cup for the BBC next season and will also present the World Cup in 2026. Cates, Chapman and Logan will be part of the sixth team of main presenters for Match of the Day. The oldest football program in the world began in 1964.
