Invasion of Ukraine – Zelensky calls for using $250 billion in frozen Russian assets to arm kyiv

“The strongest support for the Ukrainian army is to allocate (it) 250 billion. Ukraine will take this money, allocate a large part of it to domestic production and import of these types of weapons that the Ukraine does not have,” he said at a press conference with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda.

In total, some $300 billion in Russian assets were frozen after the invasion of Ukraine began.
