The Pittsburgh Penguins are ready to drop the towel on Tristan Jarry.
On Wednesday, the organization announced that the goalkeeper’s name had been placed on waivers.
According to reporter Josh Yohe, who covers the Penguins, the team has reached “its breaking point” regarding the 29-year-old masked man.

In 22 games this season, Jarry has maintained a record of 8-8-4, an efficiency percentage of .886 and a goals against average of 3.26. He was also given a five-game stay in the American League for conditioning purposes in 2024-25.
The British Columbia native is currently in the second year of a five-year contract that allows him to earn $5.375 million annually.
Jarry was a second round pick (44th overall) of the Pens in the 2013 draft. In 279 career games in the Bettman circuit, he recorded a save percentage of .910 and a goals against average of 2.74.
