After the short teaser last October, the Disney+ series Daredevil Born Again finally releases its first official trailer. Will Marvel Studios do as well as Netflix?
It was one of the best Netflix series and yet, without explaining, the platform abruptly ended the Daredevil series. But according to a statement from Vincent D’Onofrio in 2022, who plays the Kingpin, this stop was justified by the arrival of Disney+ and therefore the Marvel series. An explanation which holds true to the extent that Mickey’s firm has announced the development of a new television show subtitled Born Again. A new version which is finally revealed with official extracts after numerous leaks.

Those disappointed with the cancellation of the first Daredevil series will be able to console themselves with Daredevil Born Again. A television show headed by Dario Scardapane, one of the screenwriters who worked on the previous Netflix version. To prevent fans from pulling out their pitchforks, and the new series from suffering from comparison with the old one, Marvel Studios also brought back the original cast including Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Vincent D’Onofrio (Kid/Wilson Fisk) and Jon Bernthal (Punisher).
“What I can tell you is that Daredevil Born Again contains some of the most brutal action scenes we have ever brought to screen. It’s not a horror film, but it’s a powerful series with lots of visceral action, to say the least.” teased actor Vincent D’Onofrio during an interview for Entertainment Weekly in 2024. After several months of waiting, the series Daredevil Born Again, which will be available March 5, 2025 on Disney+shows itself with a first trailer that sends heavy stuff. On the program a cordial face-to-face between the devil of Hell’s Kitchen and Wilson Fisk, and several fighting sequences which do not seem to ignore the violence. To see but we could be very pleasantly surprised by Daredevil Born Again in the end.
A familiar and new version
During an interview, Marvel TV Program Manager Brad Winderbaum indicated that there would be notable changes to the characters and their relationships. “Their characters are going to clash in a way we’ve never seen before. It’s no longer just about trying to kill each other. There is a whole political game”.
