Warner Bros releases the official trailer for Alto Knights by Barry Levinson with Robert De Niro in a dual role.

In development since the 1970s, ‘Alto Knights‘ tells the story of the rivalry between two New York mafia bosses from the 1950s: Vito Genovese and Frank Costello, both played by Robert De Niro. A rivalry that caused the fall of the American Mafia.

Alto Knights‘ is made by Barry Levinsonto whom we owe ‘Good Morning, Vietnam‘ (1987), ‘Rain Man‘ (1988) or ‘Sleepers‘ (1996). The screenplay of the film is signed Nicholas Pileggia name perhaps little known to the general public but inseparable from memorable stories linked to the world of the mafia. Pileggi began his career as a journalist, specializing in the world of organized crime, before turning to film writing.

In 1986 he published Wiseguy: Life in a Mafia Familya book tracing the story of Henry Hill, which he later adapted into a screenplay for the masterpiece Martin Scorsese, The Freedmen (Goodfellas, 1990). In 1995, he did it again with Casino: Love and Honor in Las Vegasa work adapted the same year into a film, Casinostill under the direction of Scorsese. Nicholas Pileggi also produced ‘American Gangster‘ (2007) by Ridley Scott et ‘The Irishman‘ (2019) by Martin Scorsese.

Alto Knights‘ is planned for the 19 mars 2025 in our rooms with Robert De Niro, Debra Messing, Kathrine Narducci, Cosmo Jarvis, Michael Rispoli, Michael Adler, Ed Amatrudo, Joe Basin, Anthony J. Gallo, Wallace Langham, Louis Mustillo, Frank Piccirillo, Matt Servitto et Robert Uricola.
