If TikTok is banned in the United States, another Chinese app is already ready to take over

It must be said that the American population does not agree with the decision of the country’s authorities to ban the very popular application. According to a September poll, only 32% of the country’s inhabitants support the ban.

As a result, the move from TikTok to RedNote is seen by some as a sort of snub to the government, since they remain on a Chinese platform, and therefore suspicious for Washington of spying on Americans on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.

A new trend has thus appeared on TikTok, with users ironically thanking the Beijing authorities for spying on them all these years. RedNote currently has nearly 250 million monthly active users. Will this figure explode in the coming months?
