Twist in the cold case on the murder of Ginette Naime. According to our colleagues from Le Parisien, following technical expertise and in-depth investigations, a suspect was arrested in Toulon and placed in police custody this Tuesday morning by police officers from the Central Office for the Suppression of Violence against Persons (OCRVP). A police custody which can last up to forty-eight hours and which will perhaps allow us to see more clearly in this sordid affair.
Aged 46, mother of a 20-year-old son, Ginette Naime was a care assistant and worked with elderly people in La Seyne.
On April 13, 2020, his body was found with stab wounds by walkers at Gros Cerveau, on the heights of Ollioules.
A first judicial investigation for murder was opened in Toulon between 2000 and 2008, then a second between 2016 and 2020. The cold cases unit was then referred to the case in 2022. But the mystery persisted. Until today.
