The candidate for Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, was heard this Tuesday by the senators of the Armed Services Committee. This was the first hearing of a member of the Trump administration less than a week before the inauguration of the new American president.

While Donald Trump prepares his return to the White House, Washington is getting restless. On January 20, the elected president will be back in power and there is no question, for him and his allies, that he will take office without having an officially constituted administration.
