Canal+ unveils its new offers between price changes and withdrawal of Paramount+

Canal+ has decided to simplify its offers and reduce its prices. Those who are not yet subscribed to the encrypted channel and its myCanal streaming platform will therefore perhaps be attracted by the new formulas. Please note, they are not without change compared to what Canal+ previously offered.

What are the new Canal+ offers?

Let’s start with the basic option. If you are not yet a Canal+ subscriber, you will now be able to take advantage of the homonymous offer (including Apple +) for €19.99/month for six months, then €24.99/month, subject to a two-year commitment.

We then notice that the Paramount+ streaming service is no longer “offered” in this package – just like in most of the other offers detailed below – and that the promotional period has been reduced to six months compared to 12 previously. A lack of size for new subscribers.

As for the Canal+ & Netflix “limited series”, this is now offered at €19.99/month for six months, then at €27.99/month with a 24-month commitment. It also includes Apple TV+.

Fans of cinema and series can also turn to the Canal+ Ciné Séries offer, now offered at €29.99/month for six months, then €34.99/month with a two-year commitment. They will also benefit from Apple TV+, Max Standard, Netflix Standard with advertising (two HD screens), Paramount+ Standard, Insomnia and Ciné+ OCS. It is now one of the only two formulas integrating Paramount +.

Next comes Canal+ La Totale, whose price is €59.99/month for six months, then €75.99/month with a 24-month commitment. This includes Apple TV+, the content of the CIné Séries offer, and that of the Sport package. In short, the total…

Speaking of the Canal+ Sport offer, the latter is now offered at the price of €34.99/month for six months, then €45.99/month with a 24-month commitment. It also includes Apple TV+.

Finally, the Rat+ offers, offered to subscribers aged under 26, are set at €19.99/month without commitment, whether for the Ciné Séries version or the Sport version. This offer lasts until March 12, 2025.

What changes for existing offers?

For its part, the Canal+ & European Cup Pass pack remains unchanged, still starting at €29.99/month. The same applies to the RAT+ Ciné Séries and RAT+ Sport offers which continue to be offered at €19.99/month.

However, we observe several changes in this new Canal+ price list. In addition to the disappearance of Paramount+ from most offers, as well as a shortening of the periods of reduced prices, the Netflix subscription now offered in the Ciné Séries offer is the one with advertising instead of the Standard.

Non-binding subscriptions are cut from a few options.

Finally, note that non-binding subscriptions are now limited to one simultaneous user and without UHD HDR, as shown in the screenshot above.

While Canal+ is currently renegotiating the media chronology with French cinema authorities, the encrypted channel seems to have signaled the end of recess with the withdrawal or reduction of access to numerous services (Paramount+, Disney+).
