Like merciless and annoying mosquitoes, Ukrainian drones no longer give the Russian colossus any respite. Hardly a day goes by without a fuel depot, a refinery or a military site being hit, deep down, in Russia, far from the front line. During the night of Monday January 13 to Tuesday January 14, two industrial sites were damaged in the city of Saratov and in Engels, east of the Volga (almost 600 km from the Ukrainian border), declared Governor Roman Boussarguine , without detailing the extent of the damage, and specifying that there were no victims. According to the Telegram channel “Ostorozhno Novosti”, the same oil depot in Engels was hit for the second time in a week. After the attack on January 8, the fire could not be brought under control for five days, costing the lives of two firefighters. Schoolchildren in the two cities will follow classes remotely this January 14, for security reasons, authorities announced.

In the suburbs of Kazan, almost a thousand kilometers from the Ukrainian border, drones attacked a liquefied gas well operated by Gazprom, local Telegram channels report. The tanks caught fire (three according to Telegram channels, one according to local authorities). The capital of Tatarstan
