Every year, Beaune winegrowers organize festivities with tastings of their wines. The brotherhood of Saint Vincent de Beaune invites you to the annual celebration of Saint-Vincent this Sunday, January 19. After a year spent at the Domaine Françoise André, the statue of Saint Vincent will be welcomed by Maison Fatien for 2025. The day will begin with a mass at the Notre-Dame Basilica at 9:15 a.m. with the arrival of Saint-Vincent with the team from Domaine Françoise André to the Notre Dame Basilica for Mass at the Basilica at 9:30 a.m., which will be followed by a musical procession in the lively city center of Beaune by Les Trompes de chasse to Maison Fatien. At 11 a.m., an aperitif will be offered by Maison Fatien in their downtown vat room.
The House will have the honor of representing Beaune wines during the Saint Vincent Tournante on the weekend of January 25 and 26 in Ladoix-Serrigny.
Saint Vincent, celebrated on January 22, is the patron saint of winegrowers, symbolizing their solidarity. Each year, a different area welcomes the statue, participating in the tradition of the Saint Vincent Tournante which brings together saints from various villages. In Beaune, around twenty estates take turns in this tradition.
