A memory engraved forever. In the head, but also on the body… A PMU winner decided to get a tattoo in memory of his victory, in July 2024, says West France. He then won 315,878 euros.
The player, a thirty-year-old who preferred to remain anonymous, was invited with eleven other big winners to experience a VIP weekend at the Prix de Belgique, the last qualifying race for the Prix d’Amérique, which took place this Sunday . It was on this occasion that the man revealed his tattoo. The latter represents a horse’s head under which is indicated the name of the hairs in the order of arrival, with their number in Roman numerals.
New car, vacation in Morocco and stay at Disneyland
This VTC driver, who lives in the Alpes-Maritimes, is a regular at PMU. While he usually scrupulously analyzes each race, on July 3, he decided to leave it to chance. He therefore bet 15 Quinté + Spot, letting the algorithm select the horses for his bets. Great good for him since the machine found the right order, 16-1-9-11-15, and allowed him to win the jackpot. A jackpot that nevertheless had to be shared with another player.
The man received his winnings a month later, and did not wait to treat himself. “I changed banks, bought a car, invested my money, took my son to Disneyland, and treated myself to a week’s vacation in Morocco. That’s where I got the finish tattooed on my back,” he said.
