It is finally this Sunday that the big kick-off to this new version of Star Academyand we now know who the guest artists of the first Variété will be.

This Monday, a few days before the big premiere which will take place on Sunday January 19, the musical reality TV team revealed the identity of the singers who will come to perform on the big stage, alongside the 18 potential Academicians.
Remember that only 14 of these will be able to obtain their pass for the Academy which, for the first time, is located in Montreal.

-The first Variety, hosted by Jean-Philippe Dionwill be in the form of a tribute, while the potential Academicians will sing the repertoire of a local legend, Richard Desjardins. To support them, they will be able to count on the presence ofIsabelle Boulay, Éric Lapointe, Sara Dufouras well as two elders, namely Mélissa Bedardfrom the 2012 edition, and Marc-André Fortinbig winner of the 2005 edition.

Note that the evening will begin with an opening medley which will give a nod to previous editions, and it is only at the very end of the broadcast that the public will be able to hear the new theme song.
Through all of this, the 18 aspiring Academicians will also have to offer solo numbers, in order to seduce the public and, thus, win their place at the Academy.
