On century-old skis and fresh snow

The 18th edition of the unusual Skiman race was held in Polnička, in the Žďár nad Sázavou region. Around fifty enthusiasts covered eight kilometers on historic skis and dressed in period costumes. The fresh snow added a special ambiance to the event, reminiscent of the times of legendary skiers Bohumil Hanč and Václav Vrbata.
