LiAngelo Ball’s track “Tweaker” became the talk of the town, quickly climbing the charts. Released on January 4, the song has already garnered over 7.8 million views on YouTube, garnering considerable attention and praise.

In a candid moment during the Jan. 6 episode of “The Gauds Show,” Howard reflected on his past experiences in the NBA, revealing that his tweet advocating for Palestine in 2014 almost led to his ouster from the league .

“When you’re in the NBA, there’s a lot on your mind — but you quickly realize that sharing those thoughts can have serious consequences,” Howard said. “There are dangers in speaking out.”

He recalled a specific incident during his time with the Houston Rockets, where a tweet saying ‘Free Palestine’ nearly got him kicked out of professional basketball. “I was just trying to understand the gravity of the situation,” he added, reflecting on the support he found with a group of Palestinian fans in Houston who inspired his tweet.

Howard had a remarkable NBA career, becoming famous for being the only player to win Defensive Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons. After his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2021-22 season, he took his basketball skills overseas to play in Taiwan.
