The former state councilor and former cantonal councilor of Zug has died at the age of 80. His party pays tribute to him today: “Rolf Schweiger was an outstanding lawyer and a passionate fighter for liberal values ​​and Switzerland.”

His “incomparable presence” and his commitment have left a mark that “goes well beyond his work”.

Schweiger served in the FDP State Council from March 1999 to December 2011. In 2004 he also served as chairman for seven months.
