Drama last night in Wingles, north of Lens (Pas-de-Calais). Three people died Monday morning in a house fire, according to firefighters. It is a mother and her two daughters, aged 9 and 16. The public prosecutor of Béthune Etienne Thieffry confirmed “a fire which caused the death of a woman and her two children”. An investigation is opened on the charge of “destruction by fire resulting in death”, and entrusted to the interdepartmental service of the judicial police of Pas-de-Calais (SIPJ), added the prosecutor, specifying that the prosecution had moved to place for the first observations.
