Very quickly, around twenty firefighters from the emergency centers of Carcassonne, Trèbes and Salsigne were engaged in this nighttime intervention in the town of Conques-sur-Orbiel, with several fire vans and the large ladder. Alerted in the middle of the night, the mayor of Conques-sur-Orbiel Jean-François Juste went to the scene with the firefighters and the gendarmerie.
