After a weekend of flooding, time for the first assessments in Gisors

After a weekend marked by the consequences of the flood which occurred in Gisors (Eure)the time has come for the first assessments.

The decline gave way to numerous interventions by around forty firefighters present in the town.

Their missions of drying and reconnaissance of damaged homes will end this Monday January 13, 2025.

118 houses visited by firefighters

At the height of the fire brigade intervention over the weekend, interventions numbered in the hundreds.

Saturday January 11, 2025 by evening, 118 houses, businesses and buildings had been recognized with 16 direct interventions.

This involved in particular pumping and drying of cellars and flooded parts of homes.

At the start of the week, residents can breathe again after a trying weekend.
