Continuation of the 17th day of Ligue 1 this Sunday evening. RC Strasbourg traveled to Haute-Garrone to face Toulouse FC on the pitch at the Toulouse Stadium. On the Violets side, the objective of this poster was to move on to get closer to European places. A more or less similar mission for the Alsatians who wanted to stock up on points to get back in the rearview mirror in the ranking of their opponents of the day. Very quickly, Liam Rosenior’s players took the lead with a double from Emanuel Emegha (14th, 26th). Ismaël Doukouré’s CSC gave hope to the locals (35th), in vain (1-2). The VAR had work to do in the second act with a penalty awarded to Yann Gboho finally canceled (75th) but also a goal from Frank Magri invalidated (80th). With this success, Strasbourg moves up to 9th place, behind Toulouse which remains 8th.
