Hello, “Wolwoodinside” and thank you for your question. Every year, on 1is April, a certain number of social benefits are revalued. Among them, the Active Solidarity Income (RSA), the activity bonus, universal emergency aid for victims of domestic violence, the Specific Solidarity Allowance and the Allowance for Disabled Adults (AAH).
In April 2024, these allowances increased by 4.6%, while inflation had reached 4.9% for the whole of 2023. The amount of the AAH thus increased from 971.37 euros to 1,016.05 euros per month.
A revaluation that follows inflation
“The revaluation coefficient used corresponds to the change in the annual average of consumer prices, excluding tobacco, calculated on the last twelve monthly indices of these prices published by INSEE the penultimate month preceding the date of revaluation”, specifies the latest revaluation decree of the AAH.
AAH: 237 euros more per month, who are the winners from the reform of this CAF aid?
Unless the executive decides otherwise, there will be an increase in the AAH in April 2025, like all other social benefits.
