Garmin has released beta update 27.76 for Fenix 6 and Marq smartwatches. This update fixes a bug that occurred when recording Track workouts.

Here’s what we know

For some users, the watch turned off when trying to record activity data. However, this issue did not affect other workout types, so Garmin worked to resolve it. Update 27.76 is part of the 27.xx test, which was released a few weeks after the previous 27.74 beta.

The changes are minor but important for users who use the Track feature to track their workouts.

It should be noted that this version is only available to a select number of users participating in the beta program and will not be available to all users. Previous beta releases of version 27.xx also included bug fixes related to routes, slow loading of notifications, and altitude alert tone issues.

How to activate it

To update the smartwatch to version 27.76, users need to go to the menu: “Menu”, “System”, “Software Update”, “Check for Updates”. It is not yet known when the stable version of this update will be available to all Fenix 6 and Fenix 6 Pro users. Users who want to participate in testing can join the beta program through Garmin Connect.

This update is a continuation of Garmin’s efforts to fix bugs on its devices, and given the previous fixes, we can expect further improvements in future updates.
