Tottenham Hotspur fans can rejoice as their iconic striker, Son Heung-min, has signed for another year with the club. Starting January 9, 2025, anticipation is growing regarding how Son will fit in with Tottenham’s latest signing, Yang Min-hyuk, who is proving himself in the Premier League.

In an exciting twist, Tottenham shared a glimpse of the duo’s budding partnership via a training video on Instagram, showing Son guiding the rookie. The footage captured a touching moment when Son approached Yang, who was stretching on a mat indoors, and shared a friendly pat on the head—a gesture that highlights the camaraderie building form between the two players.

Yang, just 19 years old and a former star of K League 1’s Gangwon, had the honor of being the first high school player to receive the Best Young Player award, transferring to Spurs in December . In a recent chat with ‘Hayters ’, Son expressed his desire to help Yang acclimate to her new surroundings. While Son has left his mark as a striker on the left flank, Yang thrives on the right, which could set the stage for a dynamic attacking partnership, dependent on coach Ange Postecoglou’s playing strategies.
