A 33-year-old firefighter, a young father, died in a road accident on Tuesday January 7, in Val-d’Oise.
Their pain is immense. Clément Bally, volunteer firefighter at the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) of Oise, and corporal at Sdis of Val-d’Oise, died in a road accident in Luzarches, this Tuesday, January 7 .
At the time of the tragedy, the thirty-year-old “went to the La-Chapelle-en-Serval emergency center to take care of him”, report the Oise firefighters in a publication posted on tree fell on the D316 road due to the wind, according to our colleagues from Le Parisien.
Father for 14 days
Clément Bally leaves behind a family life. He was in a civil partnership and the father of a granddaughter born on December 25, 2024, said the Oise firefighters on X, saluting a colleague who “embodied the values of courage and dedication specific to our commitment”.
The news of his death plunged the firefighters’ family into deep sadness. Several tributes were paid to him on social networks.
Bruno Retailleau, Minister of the Interior, sent his “condolences to his fellow firefighters and his loved ones”.
“The Val-d’Oise firefighters have lost one of their own,” wrote Sdis on X to pay tribute to the corporal. “Our most sincere thoughts are with his wife, his daughter, his family and his loved ones, whether colleagues or friends.”
