Montreal Canadiens players were entitled to a well-deserved break on Tuesday, the day after their overtime victory against the Vancouver Canucks.
But the analysts are on duty to discuss the recent performances of the Habs who have just won eight of their ten most recent matches.
We listen to Dany Dubé with Meeker Guerrier.
Can the Canadians’ current successes continue?
Dany Dubé thinks so, for several reasons:
- The Awakening of Kirby Dach
- The dynamism of Alex Newhook
- The arrival of a second solid goalkeeper: Jakub Dobes
“Again, we’ll see what Dobes does in the next few weeks, but let’s take the month of January. I think he will play about five games. I think he will play the next game in Washington. For me, in any case, he would play in Washington,” notes Dubé.
Finished for Primeau with the Canadiens
“Can he play in the NHL? I am convinced of it. In a market like Montreal? I doubt it,” adds Dubé.
