If you are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimateyou already know THE Queststhese little daily challenges that allow you to obtain points Rewards to unlock various rewardsincluding gift cards in various brands. Well Microsoft has finally decided to update them and introduce them to computers.
Oui, subscribers to PC Game Pass can finally benefit from Questsprovided that you only launch games from the Game Pass and which do not require a third party launch (even Battle.net is excluded…). Regarding the changes, no more question of launching a game to obtain points, you have to play a minimum time. And above all, you must now be 18 years or older to earn points Rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about Quests :
If you’re an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass member, 18 years or older, here’s how to start earning points:
- Browse the new Quests : Access your Xbox profile and go to the Rewards Center, available on console, in the Xbox app on mobile, or in the Xbox app on Windows PC.
- Earn points : Play your favorite games from the Game Pass catalog.
- Claim your points : Go to the Rewards Center to claim your points.
Once you’ve accumulated enough points, redeem them for Xbox Gift Cards to purchase games, in-game content, donate to your favorite causes, and more.
As part of these changes, a minimum playing time is now required to earn points through gameplay. Quests are only available for titles in the Game Pass catalog and do not include PC games requiring third-party launchers or played on Battle.net. Visit Xbox.com/Rewards for more details.
We’ve redesigned Game Pass Quests to make them easier to use and more fun to complete. Now you can earn even more points simply by playing your favorite games or discovering your future favorites. Quests offer daily, weekly, and monthly opportunities, and we’ve also reintroduced a popular feature among players: Weekly Streaks.
-Here’s how Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can now earn points:
- Daily Game : Earn 10 points per day by playing any game in the Game Pass catalog for at least 15 minutes.
- Weekly Series : Play at least five days a week to complete your streak. Maintain your streak over several weeks to unlock point multipliers (2x for a 2-week streak, 3x for 3 weeks, etc.).
- Monthly Pack 4 Games : Explore the Game Pass catalog by playing four different games (at least 15 minutes each) each month.
- Monthly Pack 8 Games : Take your experience even further by playing eight different games (at least 15 minutes each) each month. Don’t worry, the 4 games in your Pack 4 also count for Pack 8.
In addition to exclusive Quests for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, we’re also adding new ways to earn points for all players. Starting January 7, 2025, all Microsoft Rewards members aged 18 or older will be able to access a new Weekly Bonus on PC, which will award them 150 points after playing (for at least 15 minutes) for 5 days or more.
In this update, we are also adjusting the points associated with existing bonuses:
- The Weekly Bonus on Console is rebalanced to 150 points.
- The Daily Game on PC is now worth 10 points.
We constantly evaluate the Xbox platform to ensure our commitment to positive, age-appropriate gaming experiences. Starting today, the ability to earn Rewards points through gameplay is limited to Xbox players aged 18 or older. With these changes, the Rewards Center used to track and earn points on console, the Xbox app on Windows PC, and the Xbox app on mobile will no longer be accessible to players under 18 years of age.
This update will not affect previously earned Rewards and Points. In the future, players under 18 will still be able to earn Microsoft Rewards points through parent-approved purchases on the Microsoft Store, qualifying searches on Microsoft Bing, and other non-gameplay activities, like the Challenge Daily Microsoft Rewards. They will be able to continue to view and redeem their Rewards at: https://Rewards.Microsoft.com.
