The Canadian is in action this evening while the troop of Martin St. Louis is back at the Bell Center after a long road trip during which the team finished with a 4-2-0 record, beating some NHL powers in the process, such as the Florida Panthers, the Tampa Lightning Bay, the Vegas Golden Knights and the Colorado Avalanche.
This evening, the CH will host the rare visit of the Vancouver Canucks.
As we reported to you earlier, the head coach made the decision to cancel the team’s morning training in preparation for the match.
Typically, players would have hit the ice around 10:30 a.m. in preparation for their evening game but that won’t be the case today as St. Louis will try something different.
As reported by the journalist Anthony Marcotte of BPM Sportstonight’s game will be treated as if it were a road game as the team landed in Montreal yesterday evening. We want to encourage rest.
The Canadian really sees tomorrow’s game at the Bell Center “like a road game.” The club is about to land in St-Hubert and will not hold morning training tomorrow morning. We want to maximize rest. This is completely normal.

According to what the journalist reports Priyanta Emriththe CH head coach will not meet the media this afternoon as he usually does during home matches but will instead hold a press briefing to announce his starting lineup around 4:30 p.m. at the end of the day.

If we trust the last trip, Martin St. Louis will not touch its roster unless it has one of its injured players able to return to the game.
We will then know more at the end of the day about the attacker’s state of health. Patrik Laine (flu symptoms) as well as the defender David Savard (upper body injury) and if they will be able to rejoin the lineup for tonight’s game, having missed the last two games.
