The disaster thriller starring Richard Armitage is finally on Prime Video!

The disaster thriller Into the Stormstarring Richard Armitage and Sarah Wayne Callies, is now available on Prime Video.

This 2014 film stars Armitage, also known for his role in the trilogy The Hobbit and the series Fool Me Onceas Gary Fuller, the vice principal of an Oklahoma high school, caught in a series of tornadoes.

More than ten years after its first release, this feature film is now available on the Prime Video streaming service in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

In addition to Armitage and Callies, who plays meteorologist Allison Stone, the film stars Matt Walsh, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Arlan Escarpeta.

The direction of the film goes to Steven Quale, former collaborator of James Cameron, while the screenplay is written by John Swetnam.

Recently, Armitage discussed details of his latest collaboration with Harlan Coben. Missing You tells the story of a detective (Rosalind Eleazar) whose life is turned upside down when her former fiancé (Ashley Walters) reappears 11 years after her disappearance.

The actor also advised viewers to remain “suspicious” about his detective character, Ellis Stagger, saying: “The beauty of working on this type of content is that each character has a subtext or a element of secret to keep.

“I think with Stagger he carries an 11-year weight [de secrets]. He was Clint’s contemporary [Donovan, joué par Lenny Henry]and they evolved in the police force together.

“In the first episode, when you realize what happened to him and you see how it affects his daughter who now works with Stagger, you understand that something important is happening.”

Armitage also discussed a “pressure” storyline that develops throughout the Netflix series, adding: “The secrets that this man has to keep buried, I think that little bit of pressure is going to make it interesting and compelling.”

The movie Into the Storm is currently available to stream on Prime Video, while Missing You can be viewed on Netflix.
