Prices between 2023 and 2024 fell on average by €1,000 (€16,525 in September 2023, €16,212 in December 2024 vs. €15,291 in December 2023) according to the latest analysis by Boncoin Automobile.

This drop is even greater with regard to electric vehicles. It was €3,000 (€26,895 in December 2023 compared to €23,864 in December 2024).

Stabilization in the last quarter of 2024

The drop is quite significant for vehicles sold by professionals but the prices of vehicles offered for sale by individuals remain rather stable.

Over the last quarter of 2024, prices of used vehicles overall have stabilized.

Most impacted electrics and hybrids

According to Olivier Flavier, Leboncoin Automobile director: “ numerous efforts have been undertaken by dealers and garages to support individuals in the transition to electric energy vehicles by significantly lowering their prices and compensating for reductions in government bonuses ».

On leboncoin, the category that saw the biggest drop in prices concerns vehicles less than 2 years old.

This is the category with the highest prices. Vehicles over 8 years old, more financially affordable, have remained stable in price.
