The artist shared a duet with Charles, vying to win his ticket to the semi-final of the competition. Viewers were amazed when they discovered Charles’ very high voice. A hell of a metamorphosis!
Since the start of his adventure in Star Academy, Charles has experienced quite a progression. More than ten weeks ago, the young Breton appeared on TF1 alongside the other Star Academy candidates. If he had difficulty opening up to his comrades and teachers, Ulysses’ sidekick gained more and more confidence in himself, as he explained to Isabelle Nanty, this week’s guest at the castle. “When I got here I wasn’t crying, that kind of thing” he remembered, before adding that he had managed to open his heart to others.
He thus observed : “Little by little I found a softness, something I didn’t have. I’m much calmer, I don’t get angry about much anymore, basically I’m someone… I can get angry over nothing, I get upset”. If he has evolved a lot personally, musically, he has also transformed. We owe him some lovely duets with stars even if the young man is sometimes uncompromising with himself.

A duo which nevertheless allowed Charles to qualify for the semi-final!
