Jakub Dobes once again shined brilliantly in the Habs uniform. With his 22 saves and his composure against the Avalanche cannons in shootouts, the one who was a member of the Laval Rocket a little over a week ago was an important element in this victory of 2 to 1 in Denver.
Dobes seems to want to show the Canadiens staff that he is ripe for the big league. The young goaltender has only allowed one goal on the 57 shots he has received since his arrival in the Bettman circuit.
The latter allowed his team to remain in the match against the guns of the Avalanche. The latter, however, won early in the match with a goal scored on the power play.

The outcome of the match was decided in a shootout. While Jakub Dobes was perfect against the Avalanche guns, Cole Caufield and Kirby Dach managed to beat Mackenzie Blackwood, giving the Habs the victory.
After a ten-day trip abroad, Canadians return home. They will also host the Vancouver Canucks next Monday evening. The pre-match show will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be presented on Cogeco Media platforms.
