“Given the precipitation forecast for the evening,” the police headquarters announced the activation of level 2 of the “snow and ice” plan in Ile-de-France, at 5 p.m., Saturday January 4. En this weekend back from vacation, the authorities are calling on road users to be vigilant. “The speed limit is lowered by 20 km/h on all axes of the road network within the scope of application of the PNVIFoff the ring road”, specifies the police headquarters in his press release.
Twenty-eight departments were placed on orange “snow-ice” vigilance on Saturday evening in the north and northeast of the country. In addition to all the departments of Ile-de-France, these are: Aisne, Ardennes, Aube, Côte d’Or, Haute-Saône, Eure, Marne, Haute-Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle, Nord, Oise, Pas-de-Calais, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin, Seine-Maritime, the Somme, the Vosges and the Territoire de Belfort. Inversely, Orne, Eure-et-Loir finally switched to yellow vigilance on Saturday evening.
