A great Lukaku helps Napoli put pressure on Atalanta Bergamo – All football

Napoli won comfortably on the road to Fiorentina this Saturday. The Partenopei thus take three points ahead of Atalanta Bergamo.

Romelu Lukaku started the year very well. This Saturday, during Napoli’s away victory at Fiorentina (0-3), the Red Devil scored their 7th goal of the season, from the penalty spot.

Lukaku thus made the break after returning from the locker room, in the 54th minute of play, after David Neres opened the scoring in the 29th… on an assist from the same Lukaku.

Scott McTominay will then make it 0-3 in the 68th minute, and Antonio Conte will then let Romelu Lukaku out to rest (73rd). A little later, at the very end of the match, Cyril Nyonge will play for Napoli, replacing Neres.

With this victory, Naples puts pressure on Atalanta Bergamo, who travel to Udinese later in the evening and will therefore be three points behind the Partenopei. Anything other than a victory in Udine, and Charles De Ketelaere and his teams will no longer be leaders to start the year.

Earlier on Saturday, Venice and Empoli shared the issue (1-1), with a new goal from ex-Mauve Sebastiano Esposito for Empoli. Belgian Joël Schingtienne remained on the bench for Venezia.
