Their journey has not been easy: injuries, stress, arguments and tensions have marked their adventure. Anthony Colette, in particular, had to deal with back pain and was even replaced. After this triumph, Anthony Colette surprised his fans by making himself rare on social networks. The dancer, usually very close to his community, took a break from the spotlight. It was only on Thursday January 2, 2025 that he reappeared, sharing a sincere message in his Instagram channel: “I took a lot of step back this year after our DALS victory. […] It was very useful to me, I think.” Although he did not detail the precise reasons for this break, he expressed his gratitude to his fans for their constant support despite his absences: “Thank you for staying here despite my annoying absences. I really, really love you.” Under a post, he also specified: “I’m not going to linger and I’ll talk to you about what’s going to happen for me in 2025 later.”

A few days after triumphing in Dancing with the stars, Anthony Colette chose Instagram to express himself about this adventure. In his message, the dancer returned to this season which he then described as“incredible and unforgettable”. “There were highs (very high), lows (very, very low), but above all moments that I will never forget,” he had written. Anthony Colette then thanked the show’s team and did not forget his partner Natasha St-Pier, praising her courage and determination: “Natash, you had never danced in your life and despite the challenges, you showed that with perseverance, incredible things can be accomplished.”
