A father and his son were seriously injured in the town of Saint-jean de la Porte

Two accidents yesterday for the emergency services who were not idle. They responded to a serious paragliding accident in St Jean de la Porte involving a father and his son. They also intervened in Salins for a road accident which could have turned out to be dramatic.

A paragliding accident during takeoff

The two paragliders had a problem during takeoff and fell heavily, visibly surprised by a sail closing. A major rescue operation took place. No fewer than two helicopters were dispatched to the scene. Both men suffered multiple trauma. They had to be airlifted in serious condition to Hospital. The father is 44 years old, his son is 23 years old.

A car accident also which could have turned out to be dramatic

A motorist in his 40s, for an as yet undetermined reason, lost control of his vehicle and fell approximately 25 m into a ravine. It was yesterday at the beginning of the afternoon in the town of Salins Fontaine on departmental road 117. The victim found himself temporarily trapped inside the passenger compartment. But she was able to escape thanks to the intervention of the firefighters. The person is only slightly injured. More fear than harm, fortunately.
