This year again, the majorettes and musicians of the Gerbe d’Or received a visit from Santa Claus! Each person in the association received a small gift accompanied by traditional Christmas songs performed by the few musicians present such as Petit papa Noël, Vive le vent and Mon beau sapin sang in chorus by everyone.
Then, joy and laughter took place for this last meeting before the end of the year, during the “Spanish inn” type meal, organized for the occasion. After this season full of events, with, last but not least, the Christmas gala and concert with guest, the Harmonie de La Garonne, which had a tremendous success, the members of the association are entitled to a little rest.
But, from the start of the school year, everything will return to its normal rhythm of music rehearsals and majorettes, with the addition of meetings to prepare for the annual lottery on February 1st. But for now, the association sends its best wishes to everyone for the new year ahead, with the hope of finding ever more people, during its performances, for the pleasure of the eyes and ears!
