The Cobras will play the most important game of their first season in Princeville on Friday (January 3).
To start this new year, the team led by Mario Roy will host Desjardins – Windsor Wild in a four-point duel.
Currently, Windsor shares first place with the JB de Daveluyville with 26 points, but the JB has played 15 games compared to 16 for the Desjardins – Wild.
The Cobras follow with 22 points in 17 games and it is still mathematically possible to move up in the Regional Hockey League standings.
To do this, the Cobras will absolutely have to win all their matches between now and the end of the season and hope that the other teams win against Windsor and/or Daveluyville.
-On the other hand, when we talk with the hockey staff, the objective currently is to prepare the team well for the playoffs and to finish as high as possible in the standings to have home ice advantage for as long as possible.
Fans are expected Friday at 8:30 p.m. for the visit of the Desjardins – Wild of Windsor and, to start the year off right, it will be the country evening at the Paul-de-la-Sablonnière Sports Center.
