Preliminary viewing data from the television evening of December 31 suggests an increase in interest in the show Live from New Year’s Daybut a drop in Bye byeaccording to data published by - on Thursday.
Damaged by criticism, the 2024 version of Bye bye reached 3,013,000 viewers, a decrease of 9% compared to last year’s 3,316,000 faithful. The show produced by Simon-Olivier Fecteau still managed the feat of attracting 91% of the audience for a third consecutive year.
Infoman 2024which this year benefited from a format increased to 90 minutes, also recorded a slight drop in its audience, with 2,422,000 viewers (79% of the audience), compared to 2,750,000 (81% share) in 2023.
Live from New Year’s Daywhich kicked off the public broadcaster’s television evening, brought together 2,253,000 people, for a total viewing share of 73%. This is a 22% increase in ratings in one year.
