The Interistas will still be there for the final of the Italian Super Cup. Simone Inzaghi’s players dominated Atalanta Bergamo on Thursday in Riyadh in the first semi-final (2-0). Denzel Dumfries (49th and 60th) scored a fantastic double for a logical success in a competitive match. On Monday, the triple holders of the trophy will face their neighbors AC Milan or Juventus who face each other on Friday.

This poster between the reigning Serie A champion and the current leader of the ranking started very strongly. Marcus Thuram sped to the right and allowed his friend Lautaro Martinez to immediately set fire to the Bergamasques area, who resisted as best they could (1st). The tone was set, Inter confirmed their biting start and Lautaro forced Marco Carnesecchi to divert his volley to six meters in a superb save (10th).

The Bergamo goalkeeper has worked miracles

Clearly dominated, Atalanta could have opened the scoring in an unexpected manner if Giorgio Scalnivi had better negotiated his header alone against Yann Sommer (16th). Both patient and very sharp, Inter returned to the charge and Carnesecchi again had to work against Lautaro and Dimarco (21st). La Dea became a little more consistent and then simply trembled on a too quick axial recovery from Lautaro (39th) then a tumble from Denzel Dumfries who almost obtained a penalty (42nd).
