The date of the third season revealed… without intention

While season 2 of Squid Game is panicking the counters, Netflix took advantage of this opportunity to announce the release of season 3 with… a little too precisely.

In an interview with Variety, producer Hwang Dong Hyeok did not give any specific date regarding the release of this last season, but while still specifying that the latter would be released “in the summer or in the fall”.

Against all expectations, Netflix Korea’s X account revealed the January 1, 2025, the arrival of season 3 of Squid Game in 2025, a season that could well be the last. While fans had to wait 3 three years between the first and second seasons, this time around only a few months will be needed.

At his side, a new doll named Chul-su, a giant robot with the features of a little boy, no less terrifying than his female double. And that’s not all!

Beyond this new giant robot, fans also discover in this video, the release date of season 3 “Watch Squid Game on Netflix June 27, 2025« news that delighted fans of the Korean series who are too impatient to know what happens next.

But, this ad was quickly deleted by the Korean Netflix account to be replaced by “Squid Game season 3, in 2025”. An error quickly corrected, but not enough to not be seen by fans of the series.

Netflix has not commented on this error, leaving doubt surrounding the true release date of season 3… So error or spoiler? The response will not be long in coming.
