This ambition will be realized by promoting the cultural wealth of Casamance, namely the three regions (Kolda, Sédhiou and Ziguinchor). The presentation ceremony for these Misses took place at Cap Skirring, a seaside resort with proven tourist potential.
However, for the promoter of the Yaya Label studio, the isolation of Casamance prevents her from seizing all the tourist opportunities in the beautiful region of this southern part of Senegal which she calls “The Green Zone”. “I found that my region is still landlocked. And, we all know that it is a beautiful region. That’s why it is called “Green Zone”, since it is a region that has a particularity compared to the rest of Senegal We must exploit tourist opportunities And, if we talk about the exploitation of positive tourism, respecting the ecosystem, ecotourism, this will not only create jobs. improve the conditions of our tourist establishments and also will boost the economy of our region,” declared the young promoter of Miss Ambassadrice Casamance.
Yaya Guèye advocates the development of ecotourism in the regions of Ziguinchor, Kolda and Sédhiou, which have all the assets to sell the Senegal destination via tourism. She appeals to the authorities to create the conditions to move towards exploiting the assets in the tourist and cultural fields of these regions.
