According to reports from multiple outlets in Italy including Sky Sport Italia, Lykogiannis could be sold during the January transfer window, which would leave Bologna in need of a left-back to compete and rotate with Juan Miranda.

Head coach Vincenzo Italiano already has his ideal replacement in mind, though, as Biraghi is expected to be made available at a low-cost price this window.
The Fiorentina full-back’s contract is due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season, and is currently free to negotiate with whichever team he pleases ahead of a possible move on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
However, Sky suggest that he could leave before the end of the campaign on a cut-price deal.
Biraghi has played just eight times so far in 2024-25, and it is understood that Fiorentina would not stand in his way should a suitable offer come in during the January transfer window.
