Since the announcement of its return to the small screen, fans have been eagerly awaiting it: Bigdil, Vincent Lagaf’s cult show, is making its big return this Thursday, January 2 on RMC Story, from 9:10 p.m. The host will once again be accompanied by his faithful sidekick Bill the Extraterrestrial, slightly remastered for this new version but very similar to its original version, when the program was offered on TF1.

Produced in computer-generated images, the character of Bill is animated by Gilles Vautier. The actor and comedian already played this role during the first seasons of Bigdil on TF1, between 1998 and 2004. Equipped with around twenty sensors, Gilles Vautier recites his text and brings the alien to life, thanks to the motion capture system. Live 3D. “When I saw myself again in the saucer, when Vincent said to me: “Bill, my friend Bill” and I: “Vincent, my friend Vincent”, it came back. It’s as if we had stopped for six months,” confided the man who is also a photographer to TVMag, who followed him in the studio one day of filming for the show.
