Ekaterina Badulina is a 34-year-old Russian influencer. Recently, this content creator went through a traumatic experience.
It all started when the 30-year-old fell ill, reported the New York Post. The latter suffered from a high fever accompanied by chills.
Thinking she had contracted a cold, Ekaterina saw her symptoms worsen. As specified by the American media, she feared she had developed pneumonia.
Faced with this situation, she went to the hospital, where she had an x-ray. The scan results revealed the unthinkable.

She takes an x-ray and discovers the worst
Against all expectations, doctors discovered a metal spring in the patient’s lungs.
“It turns out that in the photo the doctors saw a kind of metal spring measuring 5 by 16 millimeters, which was in the lung,” the influencer explained to the local press.
Health professionals managed to identify the intruder: a surgical instrument. Yes, you read that correctly. But how could such a situation arise?

As stated in the New York Postthe doctors deduced that the surgical instrument had been left during a previous intervention.
«After all the examinations, they said that a spring had moved in my body from a past operation… through the bloodstream… which, apparently, I didn’t even feel», Detailed the influencer.
The least we can say is that this medical error puts his life in danger.
“They said I could die at any moment,” said the Russian.

20 operations in the space of one year
At the age of 27, Ekaterina had 33 tubes placed in her leg after suffering from thromboembolism, a vein disease that manifests as a clot in a vein.
“Miraculously, I managed to survive,” said the content creator, who underwent 20 operations in one year.

Despite everything, the young woman managed to find something positive in this trying ordeal.
“After hearing that the fragment had moved, I had to regain control of my thoughts and emotions. I focused on optimism, not fear and discouragement. Anyone can die at any time, no one knows what will happen to them tomorrow.”
Through this statement, Ekaterina Badulina shows incredible composure. The latter has no other choice but to live with a sword of Damocles hanging over her head.
