LIGUE 1 2024/2025 – According to Mohamed Toubache-Ter and Sacha Tavolieri, an agreement is imminent for the signing of Jean Butez at RC Lens.
RC Lens livened up the start of the transfer window, but probably not in the way hoped for. The international goalkeeper Brice Samba is very close to Stade Rennais, having chosen this unique destination itself. The transfer is not yet complete, but it has forced the northern club to look for a replacement.
Jean Butez finally in the North?
The main target is called Jean Butez. The French goalkeeper, aged 29 and trained at rival Lille, plays in Belgium, at Royal Antwerp FC, a club whose… Will StillLensois coach, was an assistant coach in the past. Enough to facilitate the contacts already established this summer, but depending Sacha Tavolierithey were reconnected at the end of the year, just to properly prepare the rest of Brice Samba.
And according to Mohamed Toubache-Terthe deal is about to be concluded, as he announces an imminent agreement between the two clubs. The Sang et Or club needs a minimum of 40 million euros this winter, and this will therefore represent a first step towards balanced accounts. Regarding Jean Butezit will be in competition with Hervé Koffi et Denis Petrić for a starting place.
