The d^re Roberta Ruggiero appointed to the Foundation Board of Terre des Hommes Lausanne

The D^re Roberta Ruggiero, director of the Children’s Rights Academy of the Interfaculty Center for Children’s Rights (CIDE) of the University of Geneva and academic coordinator of the Children’s Rights European Academic Network (CREAN), has been appointed member of the Terre Foundation Board men Lausanne.

With extensive expertise in children’s rights, evidence-based policies, comparative analysis of public policies and evaluation of their impact, the D^re Ruggiero will actively participate in the development of strategic orientations and the supervision of initiatives carried out by one of the main Swiss NGOs dedicated to children’s rights, active in more than 30 countries around the world.

The Terre des hommes Foundation Board plays a key role in defining the strategic and operational orientations of the organization. It is made up of specialists from various fields, including humanitarian aid, public health, finance, law, marketing, media and economics.

Commenting on her appointment, the D^re Ruggiero stated: «Joining Terre des hommes allows me to actively participate in meaningful projects that protect and empower children on a global scale. This fits perfectly with my commitment to promoting the rights of children and young people.
