The funeral of little Emile will take place on February 8, 2025 at the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine basilica in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume in the Var, indicated to Figaro the lawyer for the little boy’s parents, confirming information from BFM DICI. The mass, open to the public, will be followed by a burial in the presence of loved ones only.
“A mass is the possibility of experiencing this event in meditation. The child’s loved ones are suffering but they are deeply Christians and believers. They are in Hope. We must say it, express it and that is the aim of this celebration”the bishop of Fréjus-Toulon told local media.
