Police officers on a security mission patrolled Sotteville-lès-Rouen (Seine-Maritime), on the night of January 1, 2025, around three in the morning. They come face to face on a car that drives with its lights off and at high speed.

They decide to follow the motorist from a distance to see if he eventually realizes that he forgot to put his lights on and corrects it himself. Several blocks later, officers finally decide to verbalize the one who travels in the dark.

He hits a car

Arriving at his level, the police noticed that the driver refused to stop and fled (still in the dark). He hits a parked carbut continues his race and manages to outrun the police.

The latter finally found the motorist on rue Hyacinthe-Ménagé. He got out of his vehicle and allowed himself to be questioned. The police then noticed thathe is… 16 years old. Needless to say, he didn't have a license. The officers arrested him for refusing to comply and lack of vehicle control. Note that there were two passengers in his car. One aged 19 and another only 15 years old.
